In 2019, burnout was recognised by the World Health Organisation as an occupational phenomenon. Burnout is a state of physical and emotional exhaustion that can occur when you experience long-term stress in your job or when you have worked in a physically or emotionally draining role for a long time. Common signs include <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.twentytwo.digital\/ukbodytalk\/resources\/videos\/imposter-syndrome\/\">self-doubt, feeling drained most of the time, a sense of helplessness,<\/a> and feeling trapped or alone.<\/p>\n<p>The good news? Some habits and skills can help you recover, prevent it from happening in the first place and put yourself in a position where you can lift yourself and others.<\/p>\n<p>In this episode of the LIFT podcast, I\u2019m talking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drlisabelanger.com\/\">Dr Lisa Belanger<\/a>. Lisa has a PhD in Behavioural Medicine, an Executive MBA and is a Certified Exercise Physiologist and High-Performance Specialist.
